Bennes Marrel introduces its new big volume tipper for scrap transport:  the BULKTRACK  LIGHT

In order to meet a growing market demand, the BENALU Group and in particular its subsidiary BENNES MARREL, which specializes in the designing and manufacturing of steel vehicles, is expanding its range of big volume tippers for scrap metal transport with the introduction of the BULKTRACK Light.

The BULKTRACK Light comes in addition to a range that until now offered a reinforced version for the transport of car wrecks, beams and other bulky and abrasive scrap metal.

Christophe Delepiere, President of Bennes Marrel, said ’’This new Bulktrack Light is the vehicle that was missing from our  product range. This vehicle is lighter than those offered by our competitors thanks to a design made to optimize its robustness while limiting its weight! It allows us to cover 80% of the scrap metal market (besides car wrecks, beams, etc.).

This vehicle offers numerous developments that will make it a reference in the years to come:

• High stiffness thanks to a complete ring line comprised of very imposing upper edges, a door frame, body resting profiles and a very robust assembly of front wall stiffeners.
• The most competitive weight on the market thanks to an aluminum chassis, the integration of stiffening folds on the side walls and a ring line that avoids the use of complementary stiffeners.
• Increased stability thanks to a U-shaped body, very useful on this type of vehicle for which the loading height can reach more than 2.50m.
• An essential safety device when unloading scrap metal : the pneumatic remote rear door opening device

The Bulktrack Light is available in 55 and 60m³ for a tare weight of 7.45 T (in 55m³⁾

Side walls thickness is 4mm and floor thickness is 5mm. The chassis and walkway are made of aluminium and the entire body is made of HARDOX 450. Finally, the rear door is a barn type rear door without upper cross member section.

Many options specific to the transport of scrap metal complete the offer (tarpaulin protection, strap arches, arches storing,…) and make the vehicle use even safer.
