BENALU has acquired LEGRAS INDUSTRIES, French specialist in moving floor semi-trailers and becomes BENALU – LEGRAS Group.
The BENALU group has announced today the acquisition of the company LEGRAS INDUSTRIES.
LEGRAS INDUSTRIES was created over 1 century ago and has been for years a European leader in the design and manufacturing of moving floor semi-trailers and its associated logistics solutions. Its production units, warehouse and office space are located in Epernay (51 France) on a 80,000 m² surface.
Production and associated logistic solutions of LEGRAS INDUSTRIES generate a yearly revenue of around €80 million. It currently employs 250 people.
The acquisition of LEGRAS INDUSTRIES by BENALU Group represents a structuring operation and allows for a leading position of BENALU in Europe for the production of large tonnage vehicles (semi-trailers and heavy duty carriers) and for the transportation of bulk products (solid and liquid).
BENALU aims to further strengthen the market shares of LEGRAS INDUSTRIES in France and abroad by benefiting from its industrial facilities, distribution network and purchasing capacities.

Further to the acquisition, the new name of the consolidated Group will be BENALU-LEGRAS and Arnaud de Ponnat will become Chairman of the new Group. Jean-Rémi Legras is a shareholder of the new entity.
